if its polyurethane..try leaving it out in the sun on a very hot day for the lip to expand from the heat..and if its still short..its probably a manufacturer issue or it is just really sh!tty made...try taking it to a shop and see what they can do..

Kinda hard to say without pics. I've seen lips about 1/2 short that were fitted using a dremel, hairdryer, and some patience. You can also cut slits into the wheel well edges of the lip to allow to room for flexing.
Bottom line, with these abs plastic lips you to expect some fitment problems.

yeah..*** abs plastic ****. Your best bet is to test fit on someones coupe/hatch and sell it as a 2/3dr lip if it fits.. Go to http://www.jdmshit.com for lips.. If your not looking to pay for an authentic lip, you might as well pay $100 more for a urethane lip and know its gonna take alot to break it etc..

unless you get cf...or kevlar... then you gotta drill your own holes to bolt them biatches in... My spoon lip had the best fit ever.. had to drill myself though. Best lip ive had next to the OEM..
