yo, i put my car on the road today after 5 months of sitting in storage.

they pull me over and try and tell me because i only got 3 screws in my seat holding it to the floor, it isnt safe and one of my rear calipers were ceased.. LOL they wanted to take my car off the road hahahaha, i fixed the seat problem, but what uh, can i do about my seized caliper without replacing it

 

i'm sure they didn't pull you over because of the seat screws

hence 'they pulled me over for seat screws and a seized caliper'

meaning in knowledge those are the reasons they are trying to stick on me. for pulling me over.

now on to the real reason why this thread is open, can u answer the question i asked without being obnoxiously smart or trying to increase a post count ?

 

well im sure you were maybe going a little faster than you should have been going. You should know after all the **** going on in Toronto the past few years, they are on the lookout for any kid with a honda thats looks like he is racing.

But there must have been a real reason for them to pull you over.

A done up teg with a broken seat and broken brakes. Sounds really hooked up to me, wonder what other parts you forgot to bold on when specing up you mad jdm ride? I don't really care about my post count either. But on topic with your stuck caliper, if you don't want to replace it you can try to force it open sometimes it works sometimes not. Good luck with your done up jdm teg.

 

You can rebuild the rear caliper. Is the piston seized or is the caliper not slidng freely on the pins?

 

dunno, the cop jus noticed it cause there was no wear on the caliper from the pad lik every other one,

the reason they pulled me over is because i have an impared charge, my court is in october, i got cought feb 22, its may 22nd, 3 months later, (adls) is am inistry suspension for 90 days, they pulled me over to do checks because they know my car, i live in orangeville a small town, also im on probation for drug possesion, so its mandtory to search.

in the searching of the car they noticed my caliper which looked to the cop to be seized OPEN, and i had my interior apart to chaneg carpet/rear seats and system wiring, i forgot to put 1 bolt int the driver side seat because the bracket hole is a lil short ofthe hole, so i just grinded it until the screw could go in the hole.

but the caliper, is my real problem here, im not much of a brake system eprson, how would i rebuild it ? or what is the things i can do to make it look functional, i have a 72 hour warning to show its been fixed.

Just go to canadian tire or one of the auto parts stores there and get a replacement caliper or a rebuild kit.
