Default Bkukes15's 92' H22 CX Hatch build. lots o pics

Well I've been helping my freind with this project for a little over 2years.
Origanaly the H22 was bought for his Accord, but after finding frame damage. The accord was sold.
A few weeks went by and we went to a local race track, where I blew my motor. On the tow home. We saw a little 92 Hatch sitting in a parking lot.
We pulled in and I left my # asking if there where intersted in selling. 2 weeks later I get a call, and $1500 later. Kukes picks up a all origal 92'cx.

Imideatly the choice was made to boost the H22. and the motor was sent off to LASKEY RACING. Now the motor is back so on with the buil and the pics.

The day befor we dicided to pull the motor, we decided to go auto-x the car 1 last time with the stock D15.

out with the old. Couple freinds dropped by to give us a hand. (drink are beer HA)

DAY 2

Cleand up the enginebay with some SimlpeGreen and alot of elbow greece.

Day 3

Kenny & Kukes got a jump on putting the H22 in.
I should up after work and another freind was there hard @ it helping ( drink the beer). It took 3 atemts to get it to go in. Had to drop it down 2x to tap the frame rail to get the tranny to come up.

And its in.

but super tight fit.

So out it came. again. 3x in 2days.

Well after seeing 1st hand how tight of a fit it was to have a H22 in a EG. We knew we had to move some stuff around.
At this point I decided I would shave the bay, since I had already tucked the harness on the motor.

So Kukes got to work on it.

Almost anything aside from a D looks oversized for a civic, especially a H series. More pics!

Its been hella windy in the afternoons, so no prorgess. Other than raiding the frigde. I'm off today but its raining a little this mourning. I just need to glaze/primer a couple more spots, and shoot the white. Really want to get the motor in befor sunday.

Well a freind dropped by today, and offerd to paint the bayfor us. I was going to just shoot it with a can of Krylon, but he insisted he could bring over his paint gun.
Hey why not.

I'll be in town in around 3pm to pick up Jordan. You buying lunch,Jeff ? Give me a call.

Heres a quick cellphone pic. Ill upload the pics from my camera later today.
The guy that was going to come paint the bay for us flaked out. So we went with good old Krylon instead.

Next just got to put the new fuelfilter in,and then the motor is going back in.
