the guy i bought my car from swapped his motor on a LS because the miles were getting too high, how do i know my swap is legit and has the actual amount that this person says he has cuz im not sure he was telling the truth, but i cant say hes a liar either.

 

There is really no way to tell or figure the mileage on the engine you've purchased.

However you can check the condition..

I would start with doing a compression test..Then go from there..

Does the engine burn oil, leak, smoke?

If so then i would perform a leakdown test.
