Default HID install on a '08 Civic....

How do you get in the bulb area? Just trying to remove the stock bulbs is a b1tch. We tried to install a plug-n-play E-bay kit, but could not get our hands behind the headlights... you guys have any tips or tricks?

turn the wheel all the way to right... pull back fender liner on left wheelwell. reach in and pop out lightbulb. Do the same on other side. But if you are putting in ballasts, you might wanna take off bumper too so you can place the ballasts out of the way, looks like crap with em sitting in engine bay...

i find it easier to remove both front wheels and then take the wheel liner off.

driver side should be able to plug in, for the right passenger side, turn the wheel all the way to the right. take like 1 or 2 screws? off the fender liner and stick your hand in. if you dont want to do that find someone with small hands

There are 2 ways. You can take off the wheels and spend alot of time taking out the plastic pins. OR you can take off your front bumper.

Personally take off your front bumper, that way you know where to mount your kit. Remember it's bad to have it bounce around alot.

Drivers side take out battery and radiator overflow and pass side turn wheel left and pop out the three plastic push clips and pull liner out enough to get your hand in.....i just did it last night and the 4300k kit looks perfect and the ballasts and wiring are hidden pretty well without removing the bumper....had to buy super long screw driver to adjust drivers beam up just a hair and now it is as good visually as my stock hids in my is300....should be an option from honda like everyone says!!! good luck!
