banjo bolt wont tighten help!
I noticed I was leaking fuel from the banjo nut on the fuel rail.. so when I went to tighten It, the bolt just came loose. So I bought a new one from honda and the same thing is happening again! It seems to be stripping the inside thread for some reason.

my question is WHY is it stripping? Its a brand new banjo nut.. and it wouldn't tighten down completely. could it have anything with the washers? I guess I needed to be more specific :/
The threads are stripped inside the fuel rail, so even with a new banjo bolt its gonna be stripped no matter what. How hard is that to figure out?

you need a new fuel rail first(and a new banjo bolt) the bolt it self will not fix it.

Just hit up ebay or a local salvage yard, shouldn't be too much money.

why wouldnt they? just go into a pick-a-part and grab the rail, pay 10 dollars and get the bolt that comes along with it for free
