painted sidemoldings/side skirts
In all honesty, I thought the point of side skirts was to remain unpainted, bare plastic. That way they took the beating from the road (ie. rocks and pebbles) and wouldn't chip and look ugly. Is that wrong? I personaly wouldn't paint them for that reason.

Yeah paint them.........flat black and a fricken manilla folder.....slide folder between car and skirt, spray....move folder to unpainted spot, spray......repeat until entire skirt is painted.

heres my dx hatch with painted side mouldings, side skirts, lower lip on front and rear bumpers. I think it looks way cleaner this way. IMO

for the record..they dont get chipped..and people say your shoes will scuff them up..well those people need to learn how to get in and out of a car. i dont have neither of those problems

uhh homie not all roads are as rough as you are describing them to be. my side skirts and moldings came painted when i bought the car from honda. for the 3 years i've had my car, the moldings and sideskirts have never been chipped from pebbles, etc. and the car was RED.

I am not your "homie". Oh yeah, RED car's get less debris thrown at them then other cars.
