Default How do I get surface rust off the rivets of my wheels....

I have a set of Work Equips on my 300zx and the rivets are starting to turn brownish with the surface rust on them. I want to know what is the easiest and safest way to remove this surface rust without taking apart the wheel and without ruining the face of the wheel which is painted black. Let me know please, because its starting to bother the **** outta me and I love these wheels to death.

Take a handful of bolts (they're not rivets if they're actually Work wheels) out and get them either plated, polished & coated, or powdercoated. Then, put them back in, and repeat with another handful.

Ask around, it's different for different locations.

Probably around $50 for a baked on paint coat, or $100 for powdercoating.

can i get new bolts from Work?? Ive heard that its a hassle to get the bolts out and then the process to get everything back together. I dont want the wheels integrity to be compromised in any way if i take it apart.
