Default Transmission fill plug

I can't find it for the life of me. Car is a 1989 Civic Si, I've got the battery out, and all I see are mounts

Just above the passenger's side axle towards the firewall. It's a 17mm bolt.

It may be partially hidden at first glance by the subframe. It's kind of a bitch to get at too.

My god, I found it... I don't even have a funnel that can bend like that

I hope my 17mm wrench can get it off

Any other options? I read about the speedo cable, but that seems ridiculous.

You can actually use a turkey baster to fill it if necessary. Otherwise a funnel + fuel line hose = awesome.

You can only do the speedo cable trick if you have an electronic VSS (at least I could never do it with my mechanical one), or the reverse sensor location is another option if you can break it free. Last resort is the vent hose on the front of the trans, but I mean LAST option, as it takes forever.
