What size is a civic hatch & a HF Crx gas tank ???
I changed out my gas tank like 6 years ago because some @sshat tried to jack it up from the tank and replaced it with a tank from a 88-89 HF
I been paying attention to my gas alot lately and I dont know if my guages are off or what but I fill up when the needles on E and I only get 7 gallons max I checked the tank and theres no dents but should I be getting 12 ??? I even let it run almost dry , I could here the fuel pump struggle and I still got under 10 ????
Im getting like 180 miles to the tank

 

HF's have a 10.6 gallon tank

 

If your getting around 18mpg in a HF you have a serious issue. I get 32/36 in my CRX Si and 34/42 in my CRX

There's nothing wrong with your tank. I have owned 3 HF's and they all show empty and when I go to fill it up I can only pump 7.X gallons. When I push it on 'E' for a while, I have been able to get 7.5 gallons in at the most. So don't stress it.
I just swapped out my HF tank for an DX/Si tank which is 12.X gallons, I still only get 10.X gallons in there.

 

my dx only gets 7 butt i got a swap and i dont know if the guy switcheed it. how many should i have if its 96 gsr tank??

 

sorry forgot to mention its a 88 civic dx hatch with a b16 and a hf tank Im thinking about switching back to a 12 gallon then ???
