Hey everyone I'm going to do a B16 swap into my 2000 cx and pull the d16y7 out. Right now I can get a really good deal on a crx shell. So naturally I wondering what I will run into doing the swap.
Will the mounts line up? Will I need some sort of conversion mounts?
I am assuming I will need a conversion harness (obd0 to obd2) and have to remove the resistor box and rewire the distributor plugs.
Can you guys fill me in on what else I will run into?

If the crx has the stock engine in there, then just pull it out, use the distributor, alternator and intake manifold from it. Everything else is plug and play, you wont have plugs for all of the sensors on your new engine but theyre fine to leave unplugged.
If it doesnt have an engine, and it is just a shell, then yeah you will need to do all the things you listed. You wont need any new mounts though, your stock ones will work fine.
