AWD and Turbo cars to be bumped from STS to STX?
I know this is somewhat old news, but from the August 2002 Fastrack in Sportscar ( http://www.scca.org/news/fastrack/02-08.pdf )...
"The SEB has reviewed and is presenting for member feedback the STAC's current statement of vision for this category, which is as follows: If STX reaches National status, the vehicle eligibility for STS would be restricted to permit only 2WD N/A vehicles, and all others (AWD, turbos) would go into STX. The STAC believes that models such as the Subaru Impreza 2.5RS would remain viable cars for STX."

Only in a ProSolo format.
Otherwise a pretty equally matched car for STS and G-Stock. I say keep them...

The 2.5RS is a dominant car in STS, but in STX it would have to compete with the WRX.

A: Not a 2.5RS.
Take out the AWD prosolo launch advantage, and they are NOT a spectacular car.
Heheh thankfully I haven't had to compete against a 2.5RS this year
