So ive been dealing with some idle issues, and figured out that i was using wrong gasket on tb, because its a d16z6 IM with a LS TB so now i still have a slight idle issue and ive keyed it down to my PCV valve on top of the Valve Cover, If i cover the valve, it takes a second but it starts to idle normaly but the alternator belt makes a loud screeching sound.. any ideas??

I assume when you plug the PCV the idle drops down a little bit right? Check your belt for glazing or wear.

Pull the PCV off and shake it, if it rattles its good, if not, replace it. Report back and goodluck!
