have the police run the fingerprints found in the car, thats about all that you can do. isnt it highly illegal to drive with no insurence? but thats the price to pay to drive an SI

I don't see what the whole asian thing has to do with anything. There is no excuse for owning a car that you drive and NOT having insurance. Like the guy above me said, I'm damn near 100% sure that it's illegal to drive a car without insurance.
If I was you, I'd suck up the losses, buy a new cluster and get some damn insurance.
Get a cheaper insurance company if they want $300/month for full coverage. I wasn't paying that much when I was 21 and had two speeding tickets and just got my EM1.

you gotta get that alarm fixed and get yourself some insurance bro, whoever quoted you for insurance is effing high, i pay $172 a month for full coverage on my 00 EM1 and i have 2 speeding tickets both exceeding 100mph, i just reccomend full coverage b/c EM1's are high ticket pieces for theives, so full coverage is just a necessity

You better get insurance soon. If you get in an accident anytime without it, even if it wasnt your fault, your automatically at fault and you get screwed with a huge fine and maybe jail time(not sure bout the jail time or not). Just get liability and when you can afford full then get it.
Also your SUPER lucky they only took your gauge cluster. EM1's are stolen all the time and stripped. Keep a eye out for a EM1 cluster that has your milage on it. Cops dont usually do anything about cars getting broken into or stolen.

Especially when the owner is negligent to the point of not carrying insurance on the car.

Nah I think that
I got no insurance....not because I don't wanna but I can't afford i
pretty much means he has NO insurance at all. So if he were to plow into somebody while going to work, he'd be in a hell of a lot deeper **** than just trying to afford $100-150/ month for insurance. Car impounded, lawsuits from the other party, jail time....woohoooo!!! Good times.

in some places its not illegal to have no insurace, like in wisconsin, but most places require you to have insurance and it is pretty
to have no insurance on an Em1 with all those thefts you hear about. and sadly even with fingerprints cops (99%) wont do ****. i had my explorer and 300m broken into and they took a bunch of **** (luckily the nav and civic were in the garage) they left a lighter, screwdriver, cig, and fingerprints. cops didnt do **** because "it happens to often to do anything about it" which is pretty [freak]in stupid imo. of course its going to happen a lot if they dont do **** about it
p.s. and yes...both vehicles had alarms.

No insurance? If you can't afford to buy, maintain, and drive the car with all associated costs, either buy a different car or don't drive.
The fact that you're driving around with no insurance makes you a scum bag. If you hit my car and you had no insurance, I'd either have to suck up the damages or MY insurance company would have to do it. I'd have to go through a whole pile of bull **** just to get my car fixed if someone like you hit me.
F you.
Go get insurance. Get quotes from different companies. You can't afford another $100 a month just to get covered?!! Get a job.
I have no pity for you. Do you realize that civic EXes are cheaper than Si's and cheaper to insure? You bought the Si for reasons other than need or practicality. So pay to play.
Even if you had insurance, you wouldn't want to claim your gauge cluster. You'd have to pay the deductible, and then you'd get stuck with higher premiums. A gauge cluster can be had for $200 on ebay. Look on the bright side. You'll probably buy YOURS back from whomever stole it..so you'll have the same mileage.
My insurnace for my Si costs $55ish/month. I'm on a multi car plan, etc etc...but either way I get good rates. My S2000 is under my name and I still only pay $58ish for that per month. I'm with Allstate. I'm 23.
And look at this:

2 or 3 more have been added. None on my record, though
. It's surprising what going to court and saying "not guilty" will do.
Go shop around for insurance. Regardless of your gauge cluster. I'm sure you can find something cheaper that will still cover you inscase of an accident. What are you going to do when you get into an accident? Drive away?

dont forget if he gets into a wreck and either him, or someone in the other car gets hurt, with no insurence whos going to pay for it? say his passenger gets thrown out, and is in a coma, from him runnning into some old lady going to church, he better pray that the cops, the other peoples family, the old ladys insurence company dont make it so that on his gravestone when he dyes says who his grave and who his *** is still owned by.
no insurance? where do you live man? mexico? nah just kidding that sucks man. honestly if you can afford an si you can afford like 100 bucks a month for pl and pd..but how did you get away with insurance? was the car parked and you didn't drive it? its like a 3 grand fine to drive without insurance
