i think coilovers are overkill if people don't plan on autoxing or road racing.

all the above posts are correct... as from my experience.
mine came with "Nuesprings" Yellow- Racing series- 2" drop...
i LOVE it!
its very solid/stiff... no wheel rub (even with tall snow tires!)
but what they said about oem shocks is true,
mine and many others have "blown-out"/leaked after only 20,000 miles after being lowered.
i've looked into shocks, with koni's and tokico's as a viable option...
(but if i were you, i'd go with adjustable coil-overs and be done with it! then you're not held back)
when lowering with springs, expect a steering creak, get a camber kit and new shocks, then a good alignment!

springs will be fine. I have H&R springs, as well as skunk2 springs for my ep3.. They both ride better than stock. I Highly suggest upgrading your shocks though. Mine feels like I hit a [freak]ing goat everytime i go over a bump
