Left foot pressing clutch (all the way down), right foot on gas pedal (floored w/ madd VTAK soundage), pop the clutch, and prepare to pick your eyeballs out from the back of your head after your done. THE END.

I'm going to call BS here because VTEC won't engage unless the car is moving a minimum speed.

I was in my buddy's GTO todal, that thing burns out WAY too easily. It wasn't laying peg-legs either. LOL. OP, you just must practice. If you develop wheel hop, depress the clutch and release the throttle to spare your drive train.

WARNING : Excessive practice will wear out tires

what i would do is rev up to 5 1/2 dump the clutch then pull up the e-brake with the tires spinning. i would then give more gas but not hit the limiter for a nice smooth burnout. it would last forever.

incorrect, I had a jdm B16 in my old 91 teg, chipped ecu, and vtec would pop, while revving the e ngine without being in gear or moving.

The key to that behavior has been bolded.

instead of asking how you should be asking why... in most cases on a dragstrip a burnout isn't needed even if you are using slicks... in any case on the street a burnout isnt needed.

in the end... after your burnout you get all kinds of satisfaction because everyone thinks you're cool... worn out tires... wasted gas... unneeded shock and wear on your clutch... axles.. and tranny.

Seriousness here.

In order to burn out, you have to make sure you have less than a quarter tank of gas to make it hit vtec harder. Once that happens, you have to rev your car up to 7k 20 times, so it can get used to it. Hold on though, before you go doing that you need to check your vtec fluid, just in case. It's always a good idea to start off in 3rd gear. 'cause ya know, hella 3rd gear vtec y0. Also make sure your tire has less than 3psi in it for maximum vtec.

Where is my pimp-slap icon? I am seeking just a single finger version. Just enough to let you know that you weren't worthy of the multi-finger version.

Dont Forget The Blinker Fluid Too, it keeps the tires on the ground better. HEHE the point... DONT DO BURNOUTS UNLESS ITS FOR A VIDEO CLIP OR SOMETHING

i'm pretty sure he is, which is sad. also, to own a turbo'd GSR and not know how to do a simple burnout is also really sad. OP, trade me tegs. please? you don't need that power.
