what grit should i use and in what order

i started with 80, then 220, 400, 600, 1400 and then polished it off w/ never dull. This removed all the little nicks and dings from my girlfriends attempt to parallel park. Took about 4 hours each wheel, I wetsanded it too. Should have made her *** do it.

oh I had a clear coat to get through as well. but that comes off easy.

I had mine sand blasted...

 

how much did that cost?

 

I paid a guy in the navy 20 dollars to powder coat my rims and he had to sand blast them first.
