Rear Quarter Panel Removal
How do you take it off? I've got huge paint cracking in it, and it seems cheaper to just replace the whole thing - does it come off easily? 2/6 in diagram.
it is all connected into once piece, if you are experienced with welding and torch cutting it may be easy, but will take sometime to match up the quarter panel perfectly.
This is a big job, I am in the process of doing it right now on my crx. You will have to remove the window glass, bumber, tail lights and trunk lid,, get a good spot weld cutter because there are a lots to drill out, also you have to remove the seam sealer. You may have to remove the trunk seal. You can hack saw or grind the quarter where it meets the roof.
yea sad huh?
first rust spot on most ef's is the biggest pain in the *** ><
good luck for whatever you do, but for sure u need a welder or to be at least a little experienced

hey where did you get that image from? I need of that for my rex. It got hit in the front and the weld locations would be awesome to know if you know where I can get the book that has them.
