A/C Not Working, Accord 1994 LX
My A/C hasn't been working for awhile. I'm not sure when it first happened but I first noticed during the summer (I live in AZ). I think I may have had this same problem last summer, or maybe it still worked just not very well, all I remember is being really hot and that I wished I had a better A/C. Well I had a friend tell me to check if the clutch turns on when I turn on the A/C, which it does. After that he had no ideas except check the pressures and make sure they're correct, which I haven't got around to doing yet. The fan is still working, just doesn't blow cold air. Any advice or solutions? Thanks.
This might help, I had this problem in my 94 Accord. Basically the valve that lets hot air in doesn't close all the way. You can check by opening up the hood, find the end of the heater control cable and push it closed, then get in the car and see if the AC is cold.

If it's not that, you might neet to recharge your refridgerant, go to Autozone or Walmart and you can get everything you need there.
Hope that helps.

Maybe one of your hoses is shot, has a hole in it? You have to remember that the car you own will be or is already 14 years of age. I would start with the hoses, check them, make sure that you have proper flow of your freon/r-34 (?).
Some places give free A/C checks this time of year. Maybe you could try to find one and take it to them and see what they say. Of course, they are trying to get your business, but it is usually free for them to just do a quick look over of it.
My 94 had the same prob and it was the heater valve. For some reason, turning the **** all the way cold does not fully shut off the hot coolant circulating to your heater core... As mentioned, reach behind the intake tube to the lower fire wall to turn the switch fully shut.
If you have never charged your AC, it should use readily available R-134a (?) get a good brand with the usual oil, seal conditioners, dye, and stop leaks(or the honda stuff). Also make sure its one with a pressure gage on it so you can make sure it has the proper charge. Air bubbles should dissapear from the sight glass while the AC is running when you have the correct charge.

Alright I've added freon to the low side. The gauge was odd though. When first connected it read zero, then once the bottle was punctured it moved all over the place. After a good amount of time I closed the bottle. The A/C was then blowing air. 4 hours later I checked the pressure which was 10 psi but the bottle said it should be 25-35 psi. So I put more in and checked the A/C again and it works 4 hours later again. So I'll just have to keep checking and see if there's a slow leak.
