Default PG7 ecu

Hey I just found a PG7 ecu for like 5 bucks at a local yard. I was wondering if anyone knew the specs right off hand. I forgot what exactly the compatibility was with an A6 as well. Is it plug and play?

its plug and play, but the casings are different. you need to put it in a EF casing to have it bolt down. itll fit right in tho with the PM6 casing.

it allows 300 more rev limit. but it doesnt offer any more power than a PM6. PM6 is more horsepower.

PG7 was used in 86-89 Integras - the 86-87 Integra used a vacuum advance ignition system where the 88-89 used electronic advance - the 86-87 PG7 will not work with the 88-91 CRX/Civic MPFI engines - only the 88-89 will work - either one will plug right in

this is 86-87 PG7 ECU

this is 88-89 PG7 ECU

the pg7 i had in my car didnt look like that, and it was alot better than the pm6 that came in my car,. it gave me more than 300 more rpms. plus the fuel was better. and i didnt have to change anything. i even used it on my sohc vtec swap.
