1. Rocker Pads will be hard milled material that will be compatible for sliding contact with camshafts.

2. Roller rocker is to be used with roller profile.

1. Yes, lighter. CNC aluminum bodies with hard milled pads and/or rollers.

2. Loud VTEC pop with roller profile, depends. Specify weak *** stock like primaries and VTAK will be vicious.

3. WUT CAMZ TO RUN? U KNO DA WON DAT HITZ HELLA-TITE MAD-VTAK YO. DAYUM!!!!

4. "HOW DU I FIX DA CRACK IN MY BACK?" YA DON'T, YA HURD.

lol.

i vote for some h22 love.

These will use the stock rocker ratio correct ?
Also the locked rocker would be similar to "vtec killer cams", like the toda and crane units, correct ?
Who makes roller cams for hondas besides those select few and most of those from what I remember dont have primarys so they would need to be used on the locked rocker unit.

What kind of gains are you predicting with the roller rocker ?

Ratio is about the same. Ratio is 97% determined by Honda already - location of cam and location of rocker shaft.

You need a 4th version. VTEC killers with individual rollers. Your version 3 still has the (2) rockers plus (1) roller, so make (2) roller rockers and (1) spacer. Total mass should be near the same plus each roller will have less load on it. therefore extended life will be had by all.

So we need new cams for the version 2 roller vtec or can we use our regular camshafts like toda and skunk2 with them?

Just want to be sure since i haven't seen any of those camshafts yet with rockers and a roller in the middle yet

With the race locked roller, how much can you play around with the springs compared to what is available on the shelf?

1. It's hard to fit rollers on the outboard rockers. The BVTEC head is not designed with rockers in mind. The K20 is, and that's why the K20 rocker ratio winds up to be 1.75. It's all in fitting the package together.

2. Yes, hybrid traditional/roller vtec cam would need to be ground for Version 2 Rocker.

3. The CAD program is Solid Edge (not Solidworks). It's a very very good CAD with full life cycle (design, development, motion assembly, enhancement tracking, etc).
