Default cooling fan 94 honda civic dx

replaced thermostat, new radiator, new rad cap and cooling fan wouldn't come on. So it's rigged to where it comes on when engine is on and runs constantly. I want to make a trip of 220 miles is this possible without the engine overheating or any long term damage being caused?

Making your fan run constantly will not harm your engine in any way, it may eat into your gas milage a little cos it has to charge the battery a litle more to compensate for the extra current its using.

Dont forget the fan switch that makes the fan come on at the proper temp/time. If this is not working your fan will not come on/work properly. Try that and also the relay for the fan. It's on your thermostat.
