Default tokiko and suspension questions

i have a 90 crx si with stock suspension. a guy is selling tokiko blues for 150obo so maybe i can get them for even 100 bucks lol

1. arent tokiko the suggested stock strut replacements?
2. i know these wouldnt be a koni yellow set up but i dont care to spend a ton on suspension, but would these be alright?
3. isnt 88 and 89-91 differ? this is what i heard, just wanted to make sure before i purchased them
4. what else should i look into purchasing to smooth my ride? arms and stuff like that, i know NOTHING about suspension

thank you for your replies

Tokico Blues are excellent for drops of 2-inches or less. They also have lifetime warranties. You can get them brand new from reputable sellers on ebay for $214.00 shipped.

are you planning on going stock suspension, coil over, drop springs....?
Also is this a daily driver, auto cross or drag racer? I had them on my 91 crx with eibach pro kit. great handling for street use, except for my girl. she hated them for the stiff ride. oh well!

1. arent tokiko the suggested stock strut replacements? - yes
2. i know these wouldnt be a koni yellow set up but i dont care to spend a ton on suspension, but would these be alright? - daily driver, auto cross or drag racer
3. isnt 88 and 89-91 differ? this is what i heard, just wanted to make sure before i purchased them. - 90 crx suspension..... check out this link!

4. what else should i look into purchasing to smooth my ride? arms and stuff like that, i know NOTHING about suspension. you may look at the bushing all the way around is not a bad choice. A GREAT INVESTMENT......!

dont buy them.

blues are JUNK.

88 have different shocks and control arms than 89-91 and not compatible unless you get the right control arms.
