Help with Fuel leak on '97 Civic DX.
Hey all, first post here. My wife's '97 civic has recently gotten a leak in the fuel line. I took it in the get an estimate for repair and they told me about $1600 since they'd have to drop the tank and all that to run the new line. Obviously, I'm not wanting to pay that much. I'm pretty sure I can just splice in some new steel tubing instead of replacing the entire line. What are your thoughts on that? Also, how do you get that stupid guard that holds all the fuel/brake lines off of the lines? The leak is right below the back seat. Any help would be great, thanks!
