Default chip ECU

how do i chip an ecu??
do i have to soder and all that ****??
what chip makes the ecu not look for the knock sensor???
how much would it cost to let a shop do the chip.
i dont want to [freak] it up since and ecu isnt free

Get a couple spare ECU's to learn on if you plan on doing it yourself.

btw - john kerr (JKTuning) has done alot of great work and is actually very reputable
