I just got a B18C1 swaped into my 97 Civic CX hatch and the i'm having a problem that the The connecter (output) of the headers wont connect with the cat. The output of the headers are 2.5 and the cat is 2.25 do i need that big ring gasket or do I need to get that mouth connector cut off the headers so it can connect flange to flange??

please dont flame I'm juss trying to get my DD up and running
