Default Eibach 08 pics

Well, it was hot there, but I think that's been established. Along with pretty much everyone else I just was NOT in the picture taking mood. There was a few dope cars there, overall I was disapointed though... it seemed like there was a whole lot of stock, or mostly stock cars there. I really didn't drive 400+ miles to see a 2001 accord with Rotas. I'll post a few shots of cars I didn't see many people post that I liked. Btw I suck at taking pictures anyway, and I really was just pointing and shooting these.. sometimes I didn't even stop walking.

I hear you on the disappointment part... It was weird because in the past years Eibach has been the showcase where all the best cars with the best mods are... This year there were many cars with Rotas crappy paint jobs and shoddy body work all over the place... Hell there was even a 88-91 Civic with a BMW 318i front conversion and a widebody kit on it...

Yeah, alot of cars with Rota's

Seriously, if Eibach said "Sorry, only cars with authentic parts may participate." Then easily 60% of the cars wouldnt be there.

But, it's a meet - where anyone can go and anyone will. I think it give everyone a wide spectrum of cars, from ashy to classy.

But yeah, for those who drive hours and hours to see the creme de la creme of Hondas, this is probably not the right place.

Edit: I'm not bashing on Rota/Drag... I mean, I've had rotas before and I have Drags now (wish I had 2 grand to blow on 16" wheels with no tires), I'm just saying this meet was hyped up to me beyond belief, and I just saw a lot of poorly put together cars. There was maybe 15 cars on the outside that grabbed my attention, the rest were only decent. It was a lot of mostly stock cars with Regamasters and foglights, or maybe a stock k swap in a beat up eg. Some cars were dirty and dented up, and others were just hideous. I had a pretty good time overall, and 75% of the cars inside were really, really nice... however 25% of the cars inside I chuckled at and wished I had paid the 20 bux to put my car inside.

Where was the guy parked? I didn't see this *shrugs*

There were a lot of nice cars there too though! Just not as many nice ones as I've heard about in the past...

The thing is that it used to be. Eibach was the place where the trendsetters would unveil the new trend for the year and all the nicest/hottest Hondas would be sure to be. When I went year before last it was amazing. I could have counted on one hand the sh!tty cars with fake wheels. This year those cars (fake parts, sh!tty paint jobs and body work) outnumbered the tastefully done ones.

I know what you're saying. But I think maybe the first few shows were still new to everyone, so people came out of the woodwork to see their creations. But now, it's the same ol' group. Their trends have been set and now they're just doing their thing.

The way I see it, they're just waiting for rest of the wack cars to catch up.

like i have said in other threads, im very surprized to see this kinda talk.

It is a meet, nothing more. Not a show. Its a time to go and kick it with the homies and chill.

Still, we thank you all for coming. its appreciated.

Judging by the pics, the meet was a success.

I will also add something. Dont take me as an ***.

We will not cater to anyone on this. It is a meet, for people to go and meet others and learn about this and that. Theres no certain type that are told to come. Now while we all want to see nice cars, this is always not the case.

I will screen a tad next year, but other than that, i wont be telling people they cannot come.

I have some ideas to change next year, but we want everyone back again. The 2nd year i was involved, the 3rd year it happened, was almost a flop. People were rude, all about free ****, and cops almost shut us down. But we boucned back and did last year, which was a complete success. This year, while it was also a success, was tough because of heat and more, we are going to try and change a few things.

Still, bottom line, we want everyone back again next year and thank you all for attending and getting a few snaps this year.

I'm really suprised to see these type of comments. I've seen nothing but nice cars in all the pic threads and it looks like it was packed.

i personally had a great time but then the heat was too overwhelming.. i was there at 7am and left at 12 noon...5hrs of that heat was enough. if it wasn't for that then i would of definately stayed a lil longer..

great pics, great meet.... eibach i have great respect for all of the organizers and hats off to them for once again throwing together another successful meet

I try not to comment on people's opinion's, cause to me that's exactly what they are... opinion's.

But I felt this defiantely has to be said. People who don't organize events, let alone big events like these where it takes so much planning and organizing should NOT complain. The amount of effort, headache, and time to organize something like this takes a whole lot, and my hat definately goes off to Stunna Ben and everyone who can pull this off.

I find people nowadays more so are so unappreciative, always thinking about themselves and don't even bother thinking before they speak. The honda scene really is going to **** if all we really do is argue over trivial things such as wheels and such. Last time I read this was a meet and not a car show? a meet where people converge and showcase THEIR OWN hardwork. If people feel dissapointed, take a look at your own ride and ask yourself how can I step it up?

Nothing against the OP, just getting tired of too many complainers who want nothing more to do than just complain instead of "stepping up"

Stunna Ben and to all that made it possible
