Ok so i got a ecu code that simply stated egr valve flow insufficient,I figure maybe there is a piece of carbon stuck in the valve? If so how would one go about cleaning the part...any help would be appreciated already frustrated with the car thanks

In this pic you can see the EGR chamber cover plate, pull it off and clean out all the soot, as well as pull off the EGR valve and blast air/Berrymans B-12 cleaner thru the ports to be sure you have good air flow up to the EGR chamber.
Be sure the small ports that feed into the plenium are clear and free of soot.
Berrymans B-12 carb cleaner is your friend

Saw this thread and thought I might have some useful feedback to offer.
My Car: 1999 Accord EX, V6. Had same code come up. (Exact lettering of the code escapes me) I cleaned out the EGR vavle, cleared the code, but no good came of it. I replaced the vavle because I lack the knowledge to run the proper diagnostic procedures for testing the EGR valve's effeciancy. Working @ a parts store also made it cheap and convient to be so lazy.
Anyways, I still have the code comming up. After doing some more home work and probing my ECM with our Genesis, I have now come to the conclusion that it may be a problem with the Canister Purge Seloniod. I have yet to tend to this, but when I do, I'll post my results up.

The 99 Accord V-6 engine is different from a 95 Accord V-6

I believe that Hondadude has several times posted the link to the Service Bulletin about the newer V-6 EGR problem, or it might be listed in the FAQ post.
