I've seen quite a few threads where guys relocate their batt up front behind the bumper to make room for their catch cans.

I am ready to do the work, however I can't seem to find a local place to grab a smaller battery. I'm not a fan of the odessy battery due to the cost and they aren't as easy to come by.

I saw a thread where Turbocharged was building his race car and had used a small batt he picked up locally.

Does anyone have any model #'s, prices, or locations I can get one?

Is their any rules/regs issues with doing this that your local track is going to have a problem with?

How does a smaller batt handle street duties?

I used to use an energizer battery for a lawnmower from Pep Boys. It worked fine for my drag car. Not sure about street apps, you might have to bite the bullet and get an oddessey, they're proven.

 

Use a honda fit battery from the dealer, they're about 7x10x8 if i remember correctly and have 340cca's. For around $100, with a 100 month warrenty
