what is the life of the performance tire?

what is the life of the performance tire?
I have bought 4tires from discount tire last year Feb.
I think I have done rotation about 2times.
I went to discount tire to get re-balance, and they told me that my front tire need to change.
My tires been only about 20k miles now.
does all proformance tires are about 20k miles life?
And They offer me same 2tire for $244.
Should I just get something cheaper tires?
[Falken 245/40/ZR18] This is the tire that I am using on my wheels.
[Enkei Evo 5 Bronze] I am currently using this wheels on my 07 Altima.
I am guessing there should be more different size that will fit for my rims.
Any other tire size do you guys recommend?
