HOW RARE IS A 93 GSR
the only reason they're "rare" is because they were only released for two years. so i would call them limited then rare.

b series vtec parts are pretty much all interchangeable. so you're not limited to parts. just having a da in general sucks because there's not a lot of parts. and now everything is getting discontinued so it's getting harder to find parts.

its pretty rare to see them in good shape. ive only seen a few that are in top shape modded or not. the aztec green or the red ones are the most common. i personally like the white ones.

ys1 cable tranny sweet short gears....
and yes they are very rare just like finding a 4dr gsr or supersonic blue gsr.
if you find them most of them dont have the b17 block.
so if you find one unaltered go for it.
you will love it...... (obd1)

92 Milano Red DB2 owner here.
When I got mine about 5 years ago, (low miles-perfect condition-100% stock), I thought they were very rare. As in I'd only ever seen one other before I saw mine. But in the past five years, I've probably seen another half dozen. 1 or 3 red, 1 white, 1 aztec green. So I only see one about once or maybe twice a year. I don't see many or often. But I DO see them.
Here's something for those who've never seen a DB2 in person.

The 92-93 GSR are a limited production car for those two years. They are extremely hard to source out. You can find abundance for other models but not the GSR.

i agree with everything except the 4dr and ssbp gsrs being rare. ive owned a ssbp gsr and ive seen more of those than i have db2s. the 4drs are everywhere i see them for sale all the time. most of them are dark green with tan interior but i have seen a handfull in other colors.
All I have to say is...I love my GS-R
But they are rare, since only about 5000 were made and since its been 15 yrs, they get more and more scarce
And finding one that's in good condition and stock is next to impossible
