I need some help guys
After hanging out with you ECHC guys for a few weekends I have really started to think about getting a Civic and using it as a track car/daily driver like Yacks car. I have found a '93 hatch that has a H22 in it and a bunch of other cool stuff. the car is not finished and I can get it CHEAP. Here is my question. Can a Civic HB still be made to handle on a road course with the heavier H22 stuffed in?

Yes. As Matt indicated, it weighs more than a B series, so you'll have to experiment with spring rates, shock valving, and sway bars to get it right. If the price is right, and you think you can finish it, there is no good reason not to get it.
an H22 in a EG would roll ALL H1 ****...........
get of the net, and get that blower installed......panzy
goin' strait, killin cats ,and mullets in 78 El' Camino'z is where its at anyway.

I really need a suspension guru here to help me decide. Does anyone know if Bret Norgard is on the board? He drives a CRX in SOLO II National events?
My big concern is understeer, while there are some basic changes I don't want to end up with a real twitchy car in the end and so far I think that will be the end result. Maybe I'll call Ground Control for some advice.

It will work. No problem.
Anything will work, you will just have to be willing to put the time into sorting the suspension.
Also, just think about all the weight that can legally be removed from the front of the car... A/C, lightened flywheel, lightweight header, etc., etc.
You might have to run slightly heaver springs and beefy shocks, but you'll have Torque. Torque is cool.
