Default integra gs-r swap problems

i bought a 94 rs that was screwed and bought a 1998 JDM gsr swap. the computer that came with is a p72 obd1. i put it all in and eveything i could find showed that ecu would work( i was worried that i needed an obd2) i pinned in the vtec wire and the car fired up and purred. then i put it into gear to back it out to go to the painta shop and the engine dies under load. now it won't even idle. i pulled the codes , 20 and 22 came up but the jdm engine has no oil pressure switch. and 20 is ELectronic load detector so i went over the car looking for shorts and everything seemed fine. am i missing something or completly wrong with something?

Well your best bet is to check the ecu. If you have a friend who has the same ecu you could try that. If not my next step would to purchase a jdm ecu. But don't expect to pass emissions.

would it throw an ecu code if thats the problem?

That could be one of the reason is you burnt your ecu if im saying that correctly. Cause i had an ecu that threw an o2 code and it was working fine when i got it. But i had a bad ground i believe. So you could check the grounds, like you stated shorts, and/or borrow a friends ecu. Best bet of all is to get your hands on a helms manual
