i've heard that 05+ rsx-s mufflers bolt right up to 3rd gen tegs with no modifications...is this true or not??

and if so, anyone have pics?

 

i believe so. I've seen it done. But only thing i came close to was using my friends base model rsx muffler on my buddy club exhaust. That bolted up fine with no problems. But i have heard the S bolting right up.

Yes, the flanges will have to be cut/re-welded. Its very easy for even an amateur muffler shop to do

its sounds nice , doesnt too deep or sounds like a can

 

do you guys know what flows better... ITR or a rsx type S muffler.

 

i believe the s muffler has some sort of flow valve or something so it opens up when you step on it or get up to higher rpms, but im not 100% sure. and the 05-06 is like 2.18" and 02-04 is like 1.91" or something like that.
