Default HELP motor don gone retarded.!!!!! help from you all motor gurus

i have done a few allmotor builds on my own and they make decent power 190 plus or so with decent tuning.
i recently put together a motor gsr with work etc
skunk2 pro mani
skunk2 pro throttle body
gsr head ported and polished
rc 310 injectors
aftermarket cams unknown??????????
the block is a ctr but had typer crank and everything put in to it has a lil more get up.

but problem is that when i had it running decent with the ctr cams it ran great pulled like it was pissed off or something. now i put much bigger ones it runs like **** and it like ya step on it it takes forever to get going. its like the damn thing is waiting on an invite to hurry up and go. someone please gimme an ideas or suggestiions ya i know i need a tune but damn this **** is not to pleasing

also if i raise the fuel pressure on the 310 injectors will thats cause the car to run a bit rich or should i turn down the fuel preesure a tad

You can't expect the car to run well or be fast without getting a retune when you do something as big as changing cams............

Get it retuned and report back.

Just get the damn car tuned, thats your problem.

You can't just throw parts in an engine without tuning and expect it to be fast or even run at all.

My car felt like **** when I put a ported head on it b4 it got retuned, after the retune it was one of the strongest feeling NA b series I had ever felt (lol I haven't ridden in many fast ones).

Get that jonx tuned and make sure timing is correct. Oh and find out wtf cams they are.

sounds like the timing is too much on the retarded side. Is it slow at first then kind of gets going? If you went bigger cams did you degree them right or at all? Take it to a tuner engine building isn't just slapping parts together.

you really need to find out what cams you are running man! thats not good to just put something inside your motor and not know what they are. Pull them off and look for any markings and take them to get measured.

you've heard this a thousand times in this thread but dont expect your motor to run top notch without tuning. ESPECIALLY after making a HUGE adjustment like changing your cams and not even knowing what they are. You would be exceptionally pissed off if those "i dont know" cams turned into "BOO-BOO" cams and one take a big fat duece inside your head

They're probably stock B16a cams, that's why he got the power lag in vtec and FPR is at 47 psi with untuned RC310 injectors

Did you finally take a pic of the dizzy ends of the cams? Post them up if you did, or did you measure the lobes?
