Hey guys i got an JDM H22a del sol and my idle has been messed up for a while, it all started when i shifted down into 4th when i was going 100 in 3rd, i beleive it might have slipped into 2nd, the gears seem to be really close, anyway the idle goes really low 2k to 5k most time, and the car dies out on me often, what kinda fix am i looking at here? i need help

 

So you miss shifted into second at 100mph? Could be some bent valves or skipped timing.

 

yeah it was a bad mishift the clutch grabbed and the rpms went sky rocketing

 

check the timing. What did it rev to?
