How can you tell if you have a base model or an SH?
I bought a 97 prelude not to long ago and was told it was an SH. I looked at the title and it doesn't say that, how can you tell the difference between the base and the SH model? I was told that you can tell by the vin#, if it has a 4 its a base and a 5 for SH. I don't know tho. Can you help me out, it's not a big problem, i'm just wondering.

if its a 5th gen the only difference is 5hp</TD></TR></TABLE>
Wat? He already said it was a 5th gen and there are many differences between a Base and an SH besides engine hp (which is barely even worth mentioning). Very different front suspension setup, ATTS unit, wheels, lips, badges, etc....
