We are new to this site, and it was suggested that we move our post to this area. We race at Bonneville Salt Flats for land speed records using ladies to set the records. We welcome both ladies and men to join us. We have turbocharged Honda GoldWing 1800 with sidecar and a 1948 Triumph 500 to race this year.

that is pretty interesting, I have never seen anybody use a Goldwing as a top speed bike.

Makes sense though. The flat six is a great platform and is balanced extremely well.

How do they do with boost? What kind of modifications do you have to do for the engine to sustain?

We have raced both the GoldWing 1500 and 1800, Lots of Mods. remove the rpm limit, build a special swing arm with a chain overdrive, fuel injection for the 1500's , The 1500 engine in our streamliner uses 14 injectors. With all we change there is not a thing I would recomemend for a street bike. I have run the boost up to 10 lbs with the stock cast pistons. Arias forged pistons and 18 lbs of boost set our fastest record of 232 .4 mph on gas. There is a lot more that could be done with the engine, we just do not have the man power to do it. I have worked with seven women drivers and they have set 18 World Land Speed Records.
We are looking for two additional ladies to set records and men to build the bikes for them.
