Default ITR Key / Keychain

Well, my keychain finally broke on me yesterday after ~ 4 years. Time for a new one. 2 questions:

1. Is there an ITR-specific keychain? Where could I get one? The dealer? Anybody have a pic? Alternatives?

2. Is it possible to use the 97-98 ITR key (the one with the ITR logo on it) on a 00-01 (with immobilizer chip)? How?

dont know about the key fob.. But to get the cool looking key you have to take the plastic end of the key off of both keys and then put it on the one you want. No matter what you do it will be a hack job though ferom what I have heard.

I've heard of people pulling out the chip on their keys (by burning the plastic or whatever means) and attaching it either to the replacement key or by permanently attaching the chip as close to the ignition as possible, which of course, nullifies your factory immobiliser.

I've seen alot of Type R keyrings around, most are fake. I don't think there was ever an official keyring for the dc2 type r around here.. but Honda were selling integra type r keyrings at the Sydney MotorShow last year.

But thats the new model, and thats Australia, and thats only from what i've seen.

Use your RED key and reprogram the immobilizer. But i don't know if this will work between the 97-98 and the 00-01 models.

Or just remove the immobilizer out of your ECU. (yes, it's possible (like in the Spoon and Mugen ECU's), but i'll not provide any futher informations about how to do this! I hope you understand.)

There WAS, but it's no longer available.
