What transmissions will work with a D16Y7?

What transmissions will work with a D16Y8?

I meant D16Y8, not Y7, my bad, it's the V-TEC one.

I'm thinking about getting this 99 Civic EX V-tec, the engine is fine but the transmission is grinding on gears 1-3, so i figure it'd be cheaper to just buy another one off the local market around here rather than have it rebuilt. But I need to know, what all transmissions are compatible.

Edit: 5spd manual, not auto.

all manual d series tranny will bolt on to your engine 92-00 civic.....just decide on what gearing you want or if on a budget get on from a cx or dx and just run with it....

i recommend the ex/si tranny from the 92-95 civic.... shortest gear ratios and pretty solid.
