Default A few problems.. fuel trim malfunction & tps codes..

Ah! Im losing my mind and going semi-insane. First off, car is an original 98 GSR with a swapped jdmb18c running stock p72. Well for the LONGEST i've had a TPS problem. I switched it for an OMNI tps, same problem. Swapped it out for an OEM TPS this weekend. Same problem. It's throwing the code, but voltage remains constant at .45 - 4.6

I checked connections at pcm and it's reading the same voltage.

I know its not a short or anything, im thinking I may have a faulty pcm.. gonna try switching in my buddys pcm.

New problem now, p0170 & p0171

Fuel Trim Malfunction & Running too lean..

I have changed all of the following.

Plugs
Wires
Fuel filter
Injectors (these were changed with my IM)
BOTH 02 Sensors
(Charcoal Canister & Gas cap changed recently)

My mods are skunk2 IM and short ram intake. Apexi WS2 exhuast.

Car hogs gas sometimes it feels, runs close to normal. ROUGH idle sometimes..

Its worth mentioning that I may have a small exhuast leak close to my cat.

WHAT I NOTICED... was when the code is reset the car runs fine, as soon as teh code pops up, my idle jumps to 1100 and stays there no matter what.

Any help is appreciated. I don't know what else to test right now for either problems.

it could have something to do with the hole in your exhaust, it could be giving the o2 sensor a false reading although i don't know?

have you tried to reset the ECU after your changes? again i'm not positive but that should reset your fuel trim and start the ECU "learning" how to adjust the mixture to your mods

Heres the thing, Ive had the codes before I noticed there was a leak in my exhaust. I'll still have it fixed though and see what happens. And yea I reset the ecu many times.

Alrite, well i used a scan tool and got some readings thought it may help someone distinguish or narrow down my problem here. I personally dont understand ****. lol

The scanner had flashing lights for the following systems.. EVA, CAT, & 02S

TROUBLE CODE - P0122 TPS LOW VOLTAGE INPUT

***WITH IGNITION ON, CAR OFF***
STFT B1 (%) - 0
LTFT B1 (%) - 1.5
MAP (inHG) - 28.9
ENG RPM - 0
ECT (TEMP) - 206 DEGREES
VEH SPD - 0
SPARK ADVANCE - 0
IAT (TEMP) - 163 DEGREES
TPS (%) 8.2 (WOT 80.1)
02S B1 S1 (v) - 1.275
STFT B1 S1 (%) - 0
02S B1 S2 (v) - 1.275
STFT B1 S2 (%) - 0

*** ENGINE RUNNING ***
CALC LOAD - 27.1 to 29.4
STFT B1 (%) - 32.1 to 35.1
LTFT B1 - 4.6
MAP (inHG) - 8.5 to 9.4
IAT (TEMP) - 168 DEGREES
02S B1 S1 (v) - 0.075 to 0.855
STFT B1 S1 - 30.4
02S B1 S2 (v) - 0.500 to 1.100
STFT B1 S2 - 30.4
FUEL SYSTEM - CL
ENGINE RPM - 750
SPARK ADVANCE - 16
TPS % - 8.2

Those are all the numbers. I hope someoen can help me out here with what these actually mean. Only thing I really noticed.. is the tps % suppose to be that high? & if so, how come Im getting a TPS code for low voltage?
