I hope I don't get flamed to hell for this as I've seen numerous threads asking about adding A/C already, but I have a slightly different question. I remember once seeing here on honda-tech (I think) a complete DIY write-up by a very nice fellow about adding A/C to a first gen CRX or something. Does anyone remember or know what I'm talking about? I thought I had it bookmarked but I can't find it anymore and I've been searching on and off for 2 months now. If anyone knows and could provide a link, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

just grab every part that will fit for ac and slap it in cant be that heard the only thing is the power on switch for the ac lol u need a extra fan and a pump that will fit ur block what motor is it i got lots of ac parts laying around i chould sell u them cheap also got the rad as well

 

Yea, I'm pretty sure it didn't have A/C. It's an '88 CRX Si. I seem to remember seeing a really nice write-up here once of someone who did it with a 1st gen CRX. Might've been bookmarked in the laptop that fried. I don't really know if it's viable or not, but it's kinda really annoying in the summer not to have A/C.
