my DA bog's help me fix it, its my DD!
hey guys, i searched and read, but i dont think any of it was quite what i had problems with...
i got a b18a1 in the DA, and when i'm at idle at a stop light, when the light turns green and i start to go, the car will bog, stumble, and sometimes stall out (its automatic [dd]). from what i read, things i should check are...tps and distributor. any other ideas, or is that most likely the probleM? thanks guys

Check your PCV Valve. IIRC, this causes alot of Honda's to act up. I'd also replace any vacuum hoses that are still OEM. Also replace your spark plugs, tube seals, and ignition wires. Also check your MAP sensor, and clean your IAC Valve with some carb cleaner.
Do basic maintenance FIRST. This will always yeild positive results! So do your spark plugs, ignition cables, and vacuum hoses. When you take your spark plugs out, if there's no oil on them don't worry about the tube seals. If there is, replace the tube seals. Also remove the IAC and clean it up. This will cost you nothing besides the carb cleaner. Once your maintenance items are done, take her for a test drive. If she runs better you've found your problem. I'd personally replace the IAC but that's me. You can run the car for a test period and if it no longer acts up then it's up to you whether to keep it or get it replaced. If after this she is still acting up move onto the PCV. If it still acts up, replace the TPS. I'm not sure if your application permits the removal of the TPS or the replacement of the whole Throttle Body but I think only the D series motors come with the TPS that's attached the the TB. Run the car. **You can avoid this step if you have a multimeter. You can test the TPS, but that's dependant on if you have the proper tools. Run the car. If she still acts up move onto the MAP sensor.
