Default valve adjustment??

I have a slight clicking noise coming from my engine at idle, i've been told that i need a valve adjustment by a couple of people. My car is still under warranty, would acura do this for free or is it considered regular maintanance. How much would it cost and if it doesn't get adjusted will it eventually ruin the motor???

I don't know if they would do it under warranty, but you should get it done. If you want to do it yourself (it isn't very hard), you will need a set of 90 degree feller guages (.006-.009) and a box-end wrench (10mm, I think). You will need a wrench that is angled like the feeler guages to get in there. Here is a link that will show you how to do it www.c-speedracing.com . I would imagine Acura would charge 2 hours to do it, and they will probably charge you for a new valve cover gasket (about $10 Cdn). Either way get it taken care of.
