pretty sure bisimoto made an all motor F22 and that thing is sick... makes almost 200whp i think..
i forget what team it was but they set the record for the worlds fastest sohc motor with the f22...i think that be a sickass swap....post some pics if u decide to do the drop...

Again, probably bisimoto and his crew. they have a NA f22a with a D-series transmission running MID 9s! Check out his website for more info.
I personally have a RHD Ej1 with an F2D setup, and i must say that torque is awesome.
can i get more details about the F2D swap.....PM me or something...im very interested!!!!!!!
f22 swap is basically the exact same thing as a H22 swap minus some minor wiring differences, you use the same shifter cable, mounts, wiring harness and exhaust as any H22 swap. People seem to forget these F22 motors factory are 8.8:1 compression ratio and have Iron Sleeves. My buddy matt shue tuned a STOCK F22 in a accord with a Bisimoto Stage 2 cam on race gas, with 20psi of boost and made 422whp on a BONE STOCK MOTOR with 100k+ miles. No head gasket, no aftermarket head studs, COMPLETE STOCK with a drop in cam with a Bull **** Holset HX35 turbo with a 2.5 inch downpipe. Imagine what a proper manifold, 3 inch downpipe, T3/61(or GT35R) would do? I personally plan on doing a F23 swap in my civic on boost with a headgasket and cam. Hoping for 400+ on 18psi.
So in my opinion if your cheap and going for boost a F series motor is an awesome DIRT DIRT cheap choice. The motors are $100 daily and the tranny is a junkyard trip away. **** an H22 on boost. (Na H2B is fast as hell though but still expensive)

F2D, as long as i have been on this site, that thought has never crossed my mind, but now i am VERY intereted. I love my d series trans, dx/ex built, and i loved the motor in my 2.2 CL....Eureka!
They also made a vtec f22... think it was the f22b. Used to have one when I had a 96 accord.
I think it's a great idea. They like boost. And it wouldn't be that different from an H22 swap.
Provide something useful rather than an opinion with no basis in fact or GTFO. There are so many good reasons to do an f22a turbo swap that I'm surprised I haven't seen any yet.

you people that come back with why don't you buy a real motor crack me up. how about not everyone wants to do the same thing as the next guy. so keep your copy cat advice to yourself and stay out of threads that explore other ideas.
I personally am putting an F23a in my 92 hatch cause i want to. because no one around here has one and to me it's nice to be different. who cares if it will only run low 14's or maybe high 13's. i will have done the swap my self and get killer mpg mean while ripping most street cars with fart cans apart. grow some ***** and explore the alternatives
not everyone has the luxury of putting 3-5k into a swap so they can have a weekend warrior to brag about. some of us like taking pride in the simple things for daily drivers.

There's a bunch of F22s in the junkyard near me. Why keep one single cam though? H22 heads are around or under $400. That seems like one of the best inexpensive frankenstein motors you can build.
People have dropped F, H, K, J, B, other D series motors, even a LS1 into Civics. I have yet to see a C series, N22 diesel, R series. The K series looks like the most difficult of all
