good eye, it should say 6 speed, but the same gear set is also in the v6 maxima trans. hopefully it holds up to some decent power, we'll see

HR-1320, when i started it, i thought i'd be tesing already.lol. it doesn't look good for this season, but i don't care what it take its gonna be ready for the next one. hows your car doing?

no it doesn't bolt up, i had to get a different bellhousing that only is available in japan, the bell housing bolts to the sr20 and the 6 speed gear stack bolts to the bellhousing, no adapter plate or anything.

I'd probably redo the wastegate port. I know it will be a PITA...but there's nothing worse than troubleshooting boost control problems due to the wastegate not being a priority in the manifold's construction.

btw... looks great! love the setup. HK$ :D I'm doing a setup with a 50mm gate from them....looks amazing.

the wastegate on that is no different than pretty much every top mount or ram horn manifold in the honda world.....im sure it will be fine with that 60mm gate.

looks great

trouble shooting a boost problem isnt that hard. take the line off of the top of the gate and if the boost goes higher than you want, THEN redo the wastegate

nothing is really that hard for Joe Simpson...so you really can't take his word on this.

Do I spy an aluminum dp/dt?

hey come on now!

i really dont see a "much" better way to do it with that 60mm gate...unless he was to do a 90 degree turn after the collector and run the gate off of that. another words, he would have to start all over.

like i said...im sure it will work just fine!
