Default just another 200whp LS/VTEC!

well my project has finally hit a semi stopping point...until i decide to work the head.

heres the setup.
b18b block with fresh hone
jdm p30 pistons
shot peened ls rods/arp rod bolts
acl bearings
STOCK gsr head and valves
skunk2 pro valvetrain
skunk2 pro1 cams
50mm TWM itb's
an-r street header (merge collector) into 2.5 exhaust

no head or block decking.

now heres the awesome part.

this is my motor plotted against d-robs k20 with I/H/E/RBC and mild street tune. Solid lines are me, doted are k20.

thanks big time to d-rob, and john/j-k-tuning, and innovative motorworks...you guys are awesome!

lemme know what you all think!

we think the weird stuff at the end is a factor of the dyno starting to apply load to slow it down. these cams can definetly go farther than that.

john had been trying to play with the ramp rate of the dyno and said it may be letting the car rev too freely. but yeah it peaks early and holds atleast so i can deal with that!

Everything looks great until 7600 then it gets "wierd". Once they get the hang of the dyno, everything will be cool.

Still tho, nice job.

cant tell you exactly because i forgot to reset the trip meter on my way home. i would suspect im in the 25-30 highway range tho based on how much gas i used on the way home.

I'm sure this car runs VERY well.

That final run was with the fan repositioned. The graph before that one is nice and smooth up top, but the peak was 194whp.
