i have a 90 crx si, and a clifford arrow II alarm system, and it has that feature that flashes the parking lights when you arm it.
well, sometimes, when i arm it, the parking lights flash, but then stay on, and then i come back to my car later on, finding out that my car won't start, due to the lights being on, and draining my battery,...............................and usually, i just get it jump started, and it starts up fine.
usually, when i arm it, i look and make sure that the parking lights don't stay on after they flash, but sometimes i can't see it, since it is daytime, and it does it anyway, .................so, since this is kind of a pain in the *** for a while now, i was just wondering if anyone knew of anything this could be, and have any ideas????, thanks in advance

could be a bad ground.. sounds like a bad install.. could be a bad brain.. hard to say w/o being there to see it.. that sounds pretty bad though.. if you do notice that your parking lights stay on.. what do you do to make them go off?

if they do stay on, usually, all i have to do is to unarm and arm again, and then it just flashes and does'nt stay on.
btw, the people who installed the alarm were called Protech Electronics, and it is'nt a car audio/alarm place, actually i had my car broken into a while ago, and they were the place that handled replacing all my stolen stuff that my insurance covered.
i need to find my receipt and take it back up there, and have them check it all out, and on top of it, the window they replaced that was busted into, was'nt installed correct either, cause it is all off track, and also the alpine head unit they put in, broke after not long at all, so thats probably the first thing i should do, but i just was seeing if there was anything i could check myself.

Lolz you want me to rent an office space and call my "shop" Professional Audio/Security Unlimited or something? J/p.. it doesn't matter what the shop is called if they do bad work.. they do bad work.. and seeing that your alarm, window AND head unit is either not working properly or is giving you problems otherwise.. it sounds like they do bad work... anyway Clifford alarms come w/ a llifetime warranty.. find your receipt and have a shop check it out... they should also warranty their labor...
The alarms come with a lifetime warranty but is doubtful a different store will want to do any repairs. Sounds like a bad install, possibly a bad relay that is sticking or a bad wiring job.

yeah, the reason i was saying they are'nt an alarm/stereo place, is cause they just do a variety of things, for insurance companies, and the guy who did the work was even telling me how one time he had to clean up a car that a couple committed suicide in, and he had to drive the blood splattered car back to his shop and clean it all up, lol
so, they probably just do quick (not perfect) work, just to give it back to you, i don't know.
