is there a difference between an obd1 gsr intake manifold compared to an obd2 one?
i am doing a ls/vtec swap with a gsr head i have everything obd1 except the intake manifold....it is obd2....i have looked for about an hour now trying to find if there is a difference between the two but i dont know for a fact.. the manifold itself looks the same but are there any sensors that are different...if you could help me out that would be great ... thank you in advance
Sure is. i was going to send a link because it's on a certain DIY in the 92-00 Civic FAQ/DIY page for how to Legalize a jdm motor with the CARB/BAR but they readjusted the links page and now i can't find it.
Im looking at a 95 GSR IM and a 98 GSR IM, I don't see any difference. The only sensors I see are the IAT, EVAP, and the one for the secondary butterflies(forgot what its called) and both models have them all, as well as the evap canister tube on the bottom backside.
I would only imagine a JDM one to be different?

Maybe then. Maybe it was for the charcoal canister/evap solenoid. I remember it being something about having one less inlet for vacuum.
