I was thinking about getting some Crower valve springs for my d16z6 head, but wasn't sure if you have to get the retainers upgrade or not.

I'm planning on getting the Zex 59300 Stage 2 cam and will probably be reving to 7800rpms.

Can you use the Crower springs with the cam to that rpm with stock retainers? I have new OEM retainers laying around.
